CSS Essay Writing Workshop – Unlock Your CSS Success
On May 31, 2025, the Public Administration Students Alliance (PASA) conducted a comprehensive CSS Essay Writing Workshop at CSPs Academy, G-10, Islamabad. This two-hour session was strategically crafted to address the needs of CSS aspirants, especially those struggling with the essay paper — often considered the most challenging segment of the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination.
The workshop was led by Mureed Hussain Jasra, a well-respected CSS mentor renowned for his extensive knowledge and teaching techniques in essay writing. His session focused on building a strong foundation in essay structure, critical thinking, argument development, and clarity of expression.
Participants received in-depth training on how to plan, structure, and write compelling essays that meet the competitive standards of the CSS exam. Mr. Jasra explained practical writing strategies, shared tips for enhancing expression, and guided attendees through examples of well-scored essays from previous years. The session included a highly interactive Q&A, allowing students to ask relevant questions and receive personalized advice.
In addition to the technical aspects, the workshop created a valuable networking platform for CSS aspirants. Participants engaged in peer discussions, shared their challenges, and built connections with like-minded individuals. Free writing materials and structured resources were distributed, and all participants were awarded Certificates of Participation by PASA.
The workshop was attended by over 60 students from Islamabad and Rawalpindi, all of whom praised the session for its practical orientation and impactful delivery. Attendees reported increased confidence in approaching the essay paper, a better grasp of exam expectations, and improved techniques to organize and articulate their thoughts under time constraints.
